Fixing climbing wires

This garden has four timber frames, one in each corner of a small patio area, they are connected with some wires, these are for the Passiflora caerulea to climb on once they reach the top of the frames.

The existing attachments were screwed into the wood, but over time the wood is starting to rot so the screws are becoming loose.

My first step was to remove the existing screws and drill a new hole that would be matched around the entire structure, to keep it all looking even.

Once i had all the screws securely fixed, i then re-attached the wires. The wires are now tight and screws set tight in the timber.
